Apple TV – 2nd Generation

Description

The Second Generation Apple TV (A1378) was packed into a small 3.9″ x 3.9″ x 0.9″ form factor.  Powered by a 1GHz Apple A4 processor, it was designed to make it easy to rent movies and TV shows from Apple, as well as stream content from the major streaming services. 

Connectivity includes HDMI, Optical Audio, 10/100Base-T Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, and a single Micro-USB port officially “for service and diagnostics” and potentially other unofficial uses. 

While Apple does not list the storage or RAM specs, the iFixit tear down found that it has an 8GB SSD and 256MB RAM.
