Shop rate is $75 per hour and the following services are based on that. Parts are additional unless stated otherwise.
Mail in customers – you pay the shipping to get the items to us. They MUST be packaged well so they don’t arrive with additional damage. Return shipping will be added to your final invoice. Please send us a message before you ship to see if whole computer or just the logic board or power supply are needed. You will pay for shipping both directions.
Apple II:
- IIc and IIe Motherboard troubleshooting and chip replacing – note that the most common thing wrong is RAM – starting at $75 plus parts
- Power Supply repair – starting at $100
- Keyboard repair – starting at $75 plus parts
- Floppy disk drive servicing and repair
Macintosh:
- Logic board restoration which includes repair, ultrasonic cleaning, and new capacitors – starting at $250. *See the 68K Macintosh logic board page for more info on those.
- Analog / Power sweep board repair – starting at $150
- Floppy disk drive servicing
- Interface card restoring – please check for a quote – these can be nearly as much work as a logic board
We are regularly restoring logic boards on the Classic, Classic II, Macintosh II, IIx, IIfx, SE, SE/30, IIci, IIcx, IIsi, LC, LC II, LC III, LC 475, Color Classic and Color Classic II, Macintosh TV, LC/Performa 520, 550, 575, Centris / Quadra.
Power sweep / analog boards on the 128K, 512K, Plus, Classic, Classic II.
We have recapped eMac G4, iMac G5, Twentieth Anniversary Mac including Bose unit.
