Apple TV – Original – 1st Generation – 160GB

Description

The First Generation Apple TV (A1218) is a compact “set top box” that allows you to wirelessly stream iTunes content, such as music, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, and movies from up to five Macs or PCs to an HD-TV.  Powered by a 1GHz “Dothan” Pentium M processor, and equipped with 256MB RAM and 160GB hard drive, you can store up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs, or 25,000 photos.

Connectivity includes HDMI, Component Audio and Video, Optical Audio, 10/100Base-T Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, and a single USB 2.0 port officially “for service and diagnostics” and potentially other unofficial uses.

The Apple TV requires a Mac running MacOS X 10.3.9 or higher with a copy of iTunes 7.1 or higher connected wired or wirelessly to your home network to stream content from your computer.  There is also an update released in January of 008 that allowed you to rent movies directly from the Apple TV without a computer.

Includes Apple TV unit, Remote, and Power Cable.

The Apple TV is in overall good condition, but has some yellowing on the plastic on the top.
