Payment
Accepted forms of payment include PayPal, Mastercard, Visa, Discover & American Express (through PayPal) for online payment. Personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks for mail order. And, of course, cash for local pickup.
Online payment is processed through PayPal. You can pay from your PayPal account or with your credit card. Orders can only be shipped to your confirmed address – either confirmed through Paypal or the billing address of your credit card statement.
If you don’t want to pay online, you can mail your order, along with your payment and any special instructions, to the address provided on the invoice. Products ordered for mail-in payment will be held awaiting your payment. If payment is not received within (10) days, products will be released and available for purchase by anyone. Once payment is received, your order will then be held until cleared, up to (7) business days. CONTACT us if you have not heard from us within (10) days of mailing your order. Do not send your order with any kind of a signature required for delivery. We may not be here when the mail is delivered.
International payment is accepted through Paypal in US Dollars only at this time.
Sales Tax
We NO LONGER SHIP anywhere within the State of Colorado due to burdonsome sales tax collecting and reporting. Local pickup is welcome. (You may have a friend pick something up and mail it to you).
Sales within the City of Westminster will be charged a total of 8.6% whether the order is shipped or picked up in person.
If your order is subject to sales tax and was not calculated correctly during checkout, you will be notified of any necessary correction.
Shipping
General
Shipping Costs are based on the weight and dimensions of the package AND the location of where it’s being shipped to. Items are combined for shipping whenever possible. A small packaging fee may be added to some items for the time, extra materials or anything else needed to package them for safe delivery. All items are well padded and packaged carefully. Anti-static bags are used for appropriate items.
Items are usually shipped within 2 business days.
On occasion, our shipping calculator may fail to determine the proper shipping amount. Please ask for a shipping quote for accuracy on multiple items. We may contact you, if the difference is significant, prior to shipment with additional shipping charges.
Note that if a computer, monitor and/or printer are purchased together, you must request a shipping quote. The big items are boxed separately and the shipping calculator doesn’t know that.
We are proud to be a GREEN company! Recycle and Reuse. Not only are our products recycled to new homes, our packing materials and shipping boxes may also have been and can be recycled and reused whenever possible.
U.S. Customers
You may choose between UPS and the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Delivery times will depend on service you select, but usually between 2 and 9 days after it’s shipped.
A tracking number (Delivery Confirmation for USPS) is emailed to you when your items are shipped. The package may be tracked with this number from the UPS or USPS websites: www.ups.com or www.usps.com.
Insurance – We are responsible for any insurance of packages sent in the United States. Please look here for instructions if your package has arrive damaged or is missing items.
International Shipping
International shipments are sent through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). “Priority Mail International” is the preferred method because it is trackable. We have had very good luck with this service and have had no packages lost or damaged in the several years that we have been using it exclusively for all international shipping orders. Requests for other shipping services may be considered upon request, usually for an additional fee.
All items will be shipped as “merchandise”. You are responsible for any import licenses, fees, taxes, duties, VAT that may be charged in your country.
Certain items may not be available to ship to your country or export / import restrictions may apply.
All shipments will be processed according to the guidelines available on the USPS web site located at www.usps.com. While in general, we ship worldwide, we reserve the right to not ship to any country for any reason at any time. Depending on the extra time required to process a shipment to your country, there may be an additional fee.
A tracking number (the Customs number) is emailed to you when your items are shipped. The package may be tracked with this number from the USPS website – www.usps.com
Priority Mail International may have some included indemnity (see below) and additional insurance may be available, depending on your country. Priority Small Flat Rate Boxes are not insurable.
USPS Priority Mail International Indemnity coverage
Indemnity for uninsured Priority Mail International is provided only in accordance with postal regulations in the Domestic Mail Manual® (DMM) and the International Mail Manual (IMM). Indemnity coverage is subject to both USPS regulations and the domestic regulations of the destination country.
Based on weight, indemnity coverage up to $200.00 U.S. dollars may be included at no additional charge, and may not be available to some countries. Indemnity for loss, damage, or rifling is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the contents or the maximum indemnity based on the weight of the article.
