The last 68K based desktop Macintosh

Description

While the Quadra 630 used a 68040, the Performa and LC 630 versions used the less expensive 68LC040 (no FPU) . They were the last Mac model before the PowerPC. The 630 was the first to use an IDE hard drive rather than SCSI. It sports an LC PDS slot, a comm slot, and a video slot. A DOS compatibility card was available that uses the PDS slot and processor socket to support 486 based PC programs.
