Description

Macintosh SE, Model M5010 or M5011. Introduced in 1987. The first compact Mac with a built in fan, expansion slot (SE PDS), and the first to use ADB for the keyboard and mouse. Options included either two 800k floppy disk drives or one 800k floppy plus a hard drive. In 1989, a SE FDHD was added with a 1.4MB floppy disk drive (superdrive) plus a hard drive.

Specs: 8 MHz 68000 processor, 256KB ROM, 1MB of RAM (expandable to 4MB), in a compact all-in-one case with a 9″ screen. Supports up to System 7.5.5. Optional hard drives were either a 20MB or 40MB. 

Connectivity includes two ADB keyboard ports, SCSI port, printer port, modem port, speaker port and a floppy disk drive port.

It was originally shipped with either Apple Keyboard M0116, or Apple Extended Keyboard M0115, and the Apple Desktop Bus Mouse G5431.

All have feet, expect minor scuffs and scratches from these 30 year computers. New PRAM batteries have been installed. Floppy drives have been serviced and tested.  Ships with a power cable. Case coloring (discoloration) examples can be found here.

A) SN F8134KQM5011. SE. 800k floppy drive, 4MB memory, 128MB hard drive. New install of System 6.0.8. Case has medium discoloration on all sides except right, which has light discoloration. There are a few scratches on top right side and a hairline crack on top left. 

B) SN F8499UZM5011. SE. 800k floppy drive, 2MB memory, 20MB hard drive. Running System 6.0.8 with some apps. Case has light discoloration on all sides. 

C) SN F9215MTM5011. SE. 800k floppy drive, 4MB memory, 20MB hard drive.. Running System 6.0.8 with some apps. Case has medium discoloration on all sides. There a small round orange stain on the top and a couple of deeper scratches on the front.
