Description

Apple Macintosh Classic, Model M0420. Features an 8MHz 68000 processor. Base model was available with just a 1.4 MB SuperDrive, but most came with a 40 MB hard drive as well. 1 MB memory on the logic board (upgradable to 4 with a Memory Expansion Board). Connectivity includes one ADB keyboard port, SCSI port, printer port, modem port, headphone port and a floppy disk drive port. This is the last compact Mac to use the Motorola 68000 CPU and the first Mac priced at under $1000.00. It originally shipped with Apple Desktop Bus Mouse and the Apple Keyboard II.

  • 4 MB memory,
  • 40 MB hard drive Running System 6.0.8 and has some apps (Optional BlueSCSI drive available).
  • Logic Board has been recapped, repaired, and ultrasonic cleaned to restore it to like new condition. 
  • Analog board has been mostly recapped and tested.
  • The 1.4MB SuperDrive (Floppy Drive) has been serviced. 
  • The hard drive is in good condition – runs really quiet.
  • Comes with new PRAM battery. 
  • Case is in decent condition, it has medium discoloration with some light spots where permanent marker was removed. There are also a few pry marks around the seam of the housing and the floppy drive port. 

Available as Computer Only or With Mouse and Keyboard, with optional 2GB BlueSCSI hard drive.
