Apple’s first SCSI external hard drive, the Hard Disk SC. Released in September 1986 alongside the Apple IIGS, these drives connect via the industry-standard SCSI interface rather than a proprietary port, a significant departure from the earlier Hard Disk 20. They delivered considerably faster data transfer rates than their predecessors, up to 1.25 megabytes per second, compared to the 62.5 KB/sec of the original Hard Disk 20.

Enclosures have been tested and power on and are ready to have a SCSI hard drive or Blue SCSI drive installed.
