Description

The Apple SCSI Cable System gives you a fast, flexible, and expandable way to connect SCSI peripherals to your Macintosh computer with a built-in SCSI port, or to your Apple II equipped with a SCSI interface card.

A description is further down if you want more information.

  • M2556 – Apple SCSI System Cable plugs into the SCSI port on your computer and goes to the first SCSI peripheral (DB-25 M to CN50 M)
  • M2559 – Apple SCSI Cable Terminator – filters out unwanted signals or noise along your SCSI cables. You will need at least one on the last device. (CN50 M/F)
  • M2557 – Apple SCSI Peripheral Interface Cable – connects one SCSI peripheral to the next (CN50 M/M)
  • M2558 – Apple SCSI Cable Extender – adds a meter of cable where needed (CN50 M/F)

Later cables were gray to match the platinum colored cases.

  • M0206 – Apple SCSI Cable System plugs into the SCSI port on your computer and goes to the first SCSI peripheral (DB-25 M to CN50 M) 590-0305-B
  • M0209 – Apple SCSI Cable Terminator – filters out unwanted signals or noise along your SCSI cables. You will need at least one on the last device. (CN50 M/F) 590-0695-A, 590-0304-A, 590-0705-A (black)
  • M0207 – Apple SCSI Peripheral Interface Cable – connects one SCSI peripheral to the next (CN50 M/M) 590-0306-A

Apple PowerBook SCSI cable was also available.

Apple branded SCSI cables and terminators are quite rare in my operation, I usually see third party cables.
