Description

Apple 15″ Monochrome Portrait Display – M1030 (Rev B) – Introduced on March, 7th, 1989 the Portrait display featured a vertically oriented shadow mask CRT display. Fixed resolution of 640 x 870. It was introduced alongside the Macintosh IIcx and has a 13W3 video connector similar to ones on Unix machines of the time but it comes with a cable to adapt the 13W3 standard to a Apple DB-15 Monitor Cable. This monitor also features three ADB ports on the back one to connect the keyboard.

While Apple also had a Portrait Display video card, it works (and both below were tested) with a Macintosh II Video Card (820-0198)

Comes with standard A/C power cable and a 13W3 to DB-15 monitor cable. Please expect minor scuffs, scratches, and dings

Select One:

A) SN: HT036HZ2M0404 – Picture is nice on this one see it in the first text document screen picture above. The case has light discoloration on all sides. There’s a microphone holder on the right side.

B) SN: HT13534VM0404 – Screen is a bit fuzzy and out of focus. We tried to bring it back in focus but the adjustment doesn’t go any further. There is also some screen burn in most noticeable at boot up when there is just a grey screen. It’s also a bit dimmer than ideal. Last photo shows the monitor in action. The case has medium discoloration on all sides and crack in the top and left bottom corners of the screen.
