Description

Dynax Inc. Fortis S/P Converter. A serial to parallel converter box. A 9600 baud, with 7 or 8 data bits, 1 or 2 stop bits, and no parity.

This looks like a new opened box – still has the peanuts inside underneath the converter bag. This is marked G/P on the box – for general purpose. Box includes instructions. This converter works out of the box for a computer interface configured as DTE. Modifications are included for computers configured with DCE instead.

It looks like they made dedicated converters for the IIc, Mac, PC jr, and this one for use with other computers.
