Description

2008 Mac Pro 3,1 – A1186 – EMC 2180 (G890616EXYL).

This machine rocks two 2.8Ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon Processors, 2GB of RAM and can be upgraded to 64GB of RAM if desired. It has 3 hard drives, (1) 500GB SDD and (2) 1TB Hard Drives. It includes a Super Drive for DVD-RW disks. An Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT with 512GB VRAM with two DVI ports. Airport and Bluetooth are installed for easy connectivity with wireless devices. USB, Firewire 400 and 800, Optical Audio, 3.5mm Input/Output. Two Ethernet ports. It can run Mac OSX 10.5.1 to Mac OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan. Currently running a new install of El Capitan.

Computer is in overall good condition, there are a few light scratches on one of the side panels, but otherwise is in good cosmetic condition. 

** Note: When testing the computer it was found that 2 of the 4 RAM modules were bad and were removed.  To upgrade the RAM, heat sinks are required to be installed on the new RAM sticks. The two bad sticks of RAM will be included with the computer to in event you choose to upgrade the RAM in the future and need the required heat sinks.
