Iomega Bernoulli Box II 44

Description

The Bernoulli Box II 44 is an 5.25″ flexible disk cartridge system featuring a single 44MB Bernoulli drive.  Bernoulli drives use the Bernoulli principle to spin the 5.25″ flexible disk very close, but not touching, the read-write head. It is described as “flying on a cushion of air”. This no-contact read-write system makes the technology nearly crash proof and thus much more reliable than a floppy disk or hard drive.   

This drive uses a DB37 F/F cable, which is not included. 

We currently do not have any disks for this drive and thus are unable to test it, it does power on.  As such, this drive is being sold as-is. 

Included is the untested Bernoulli Box II 44 and a power cable. 

* This device is in overall good physical condition, but has a few minor surface scratches and a couple chips in the paint on the rear left side (as seen in the photos).
