Description

Apple Macintosh PowerBook 140, M5416. Released in the first wave of PowerBooks in 1991, this one features a 16MHz 68030 processor with a 9.8″ mono passive matrix display and an internal 1.4MB floppy drive.

Computer powers on and boots to System 7.0.1. Has 4MB memory and 60MB HDD. Case is in general good condition, but has started to separate in the bottom right corner of the display, as seen in photos. Top half of screen has lines that run through it, but is usable – likely needs recapped. Trackball works intermittently. PowerBook comes with a battery, but battery is dead and computer will not boot with the battery in. Floppy reads, writes and formats.
