Commonly called the “clamshell”, this Blueberry Apple iBook is the very first iBook model, M2453. It came along right after the first iMacs in 1999. While a heavyweight at 6.7 pounds, it has a built in handle to make carrying around a breeze without a carrying case.

This Blueberry iBook comes from the original owner and is complete with everything other than the outer box. It spent all of it’s life sitting on a desk. Hard drive has been restored from the CD then updated to System 9.1. As you can see in the photos, there are a couple of scuffs or worn areas on the bottom. Battery is included, but will need to be replaced. As always, if there are any flaws, they show up while I’m taking pictures. The last photo shows what looks like a small scratch towards the left side of the screen (any other spots are simply dust and lint). It’s not noticable when the computer is on. All else is excellent!
