PowerBook 5300ce. Model: M2785. Introduced in 1995 this $6500 PowerBook features a 117MHz 603e PPC processor, 10.4″ display with 16-bit color support, 2 pc type II card slots. It was the first PowerBook to have hot swappable drive bay, the first with a Power PC processor and the first with an IR sensor.

This computer will boot when it wants to… or not. It has 32MB Memory, swappable working 1.44Mb disk drive, 1.1 GB hard disk. Case OK but crack in the battery bezel, I/O bezel broken but present. Hinges are very stiff and have caused plastics to break inside the display under the LCD. Be very careful when opening and closing the lid – support it at the bottom.

Also included is the power adapter. PowerBook Welcome Kit box including the Macintosh PowerBook User’s Guide for the PowerBook 5300 Series computers, Disk Tools and other items pictured. And a weight saver module that would replace the floppy drive. Also in the box is a non working extra floppy drive.
