Description

The PowerBook 170, M5409 – top of the line at $4600.00 was released in 1991 alongside other models. It is the first with an active-matrix display (9.8″) and an optional internal modem. It features a 25 MHz 68030 processor and FPU co-processor (making it nearly twice as fast as the PowerBook 140) and an internal 1.4MB floppy drive.

A)  PowerBook 170. SN: CK146045703. Features 8MB Memory. System 7.5.5 on a 4GB BlueSCSI drive. Hinges move nicely. Brightness slider works. Has rear I/O door but has no clip to hold it closed. Has a pink trackball. Floppy reads, writes and ejects. Looks and works nice! Has a non working battery. Comes with power adapter and Apple bag! (*Featured in the pictures)

B) PowerBook 170. SN: F2142K15703.  No power on or chime. Display shattered. Hinges move nicely. Has rear I/O door. Case is good no major scratches. Looks like it complete and has an internal modem and a battery (condition unknown). Sold As-is.
