Description
Apple Power Macintosh 6500/300. Features a 300 MHz PowerPC 603e processor. According to Apple, this was the first personal computer to reach 300 MHz. The 6500 series featured a rounded tower case with built-in SRS 3D surround sound and subwoofer, 2D/3D graphics acceleration, and two PCI expansion slots. Connectivity includes 10Base-T Ethernet, two serial ports (printer and modem), ADB, SCSI, composite and S-Video out, and 16-bit stereo audio input and output. It was originally shipped with an AppleDesign Keyboard and Apple Mouse II.
Supported operating systems: Mac OS 7.5.3 to Mac OS 9.1, the last classic Mac OS before OS X.
64 MB RAM, 6.0 GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM drive, 1.44 MB SuperDrive, and an internal Zip 100 drive. Running a fresh installation of Mac OS 8.5. Case is in good condition with some light discoloration on the front and top, and minor scuffs, scratches, and nicks consistent with age; any larger cosmetic flaws will be noted. Power cable included. Not lightweight, shipping weight is over 40 lbs.
