Power Mac 8500
Description
Power Macintosh 8500, Model M3409. Was introduced in 1995 as a high end graphics computer for a base price of $4,000 and is one of the first in the Power Mac lineup to include impressive AV features with S-Video and composite video input and output ports on the back. The PowerPC 604 Processor is mounted on an upgradeable daughtercard. Standard goodies include a 1.4MB floppy drive and a 4X CD-ROM. 3 PCI slots, 2MB VRAM (expandable to 4MB), and can use up to 512MB RAM. Originally shipped with Apple Mouse II and Apple Extended Keyboard II.
Came with System 7.5.2 and will run up to OS 9.1

A) XB6061WC3FT – Power Mac 8500/120, This Mac comes with 60MB of memory, and a 250MB hard drive. It’s currently running MacOS 8.0 and has a few apps installed. The case has light discoloration on the front, back, bottom, and is nice on the top housing and has feet.
B) XB6213NV7P4 – Power Mac 8500/150, This Mac comes with 64MB of memory, 2GB SCSI hard disk with a new install of 7.6.1 installed and new PRAM battery. This case has very light discoloration on the front, light discoloration on the rear, and the housing is nice and all feet are intact.
C) XB65120T8FB – Power Mac 8500/180, This Mac comes with 112MB of memory, and a 255MB SCSI hard disk. This one has a tape drive bezel (instead of the blank bezel pictured), but there is no tape drive. It has a brand new install of MacOS 8.0. The case has medium discoloration on all sides except for the top housing and has feet.
Caution: The plastic tabs on the face plates and elsewhere are very brittle and will likely break if you try to remove them. You can get to all the internal parts by removing the entire case by sliding it forward from the rear.
