This adapter splits a 3.5mm (1/8″) stereo mini-jack output into two RCA female jacks (red and white) for left and right audio channels. Made by Apple and originally bundled with various classic Macintosh computers during the early-to-mid 1990s.
This cable allows you to connect the headphone or audio output of a Macintosh (or any device with a 3.5mm audio jack) to standard RCA stereo equipment such as receivers, amplifiers, powered speakers, TVs, VCRs, and other home audio/video gear.
