Macintosh IIx. Model: 5840. Introduced in 1988, the IIx was the first to come with a 16Mhz 68030 processor and 68882 FPU (floating point unit). The first to offer either a single or double 1.44Mb disk drive configuration from the factory.

This Macintosh IIx comes ready to go with a logic board that’s been recapped and restored, new batteries, and serviced double 1.44Mb disk drives *see picture. Comes with 8Mb of memory, 40Mb hard disk with a new install of System 7.5.3, and a Macintosh Display card. The case has light discoloration on the sides except for the back which is closer to medium in color. Its in good condition apart from a few dings here or there (to be expected with its age). There a one inch scrape on the front where the plastic is shiny and lost its texture. Power cable included and optional matching Apple Extended Keyboard and Apple Desktop Bus Mouse.
