Macintosh IIfx

Description

Macintosh IIfx. Model: M5525. Introduced in 1990, it came with a 40 Mhz 68030 32-bit processor and a 68882 FPU, a 1.4MB disk drive and an 80 or 160MB hard drive. A second disk drive was optional. This the last model to use the case that started with the Macintosh II. The IIFX is the fastest model in the series and for a while, the fastest Macintosh period with it’s superfast, unique RAM, a level II cache and advanced hardware.

This Macintosh IIfx comes ready to go with a logic board that’s been recapped and restored, new batteries, and serviced double 1.44Mb disk drives *see picture. Comes with 16Mb of memory, 500MB hard disk comes loaded with System 7.5.3 and a bunch of cool programs and games, as well as Macintosh Display card. The case is in good condition with light discoloration on the sides and medium discoloration on the right side and back. Power cable included and an optional matching Apple Extended Keyboard and Apple Desktop Bus Mouse is available.
