Macintosh Centris 610. Model: M1444. Introduced in 1993, the Centris 610 came in a brand new case design aka “Pizza box”. It has a 20 MHz 68LC040 processor, 1.44MB disk drive, and could be equipped with a 2x CD-ROM drive. Marketed as the most affordable 68040 based and aimed at the mainstream business users who want high performance and flexibility.
This machine has 13MB memory (80ns 72-pin sims), 1.44Mb disk serviced disk drive, new battery, and a 230MB hard disk with System 7.5.3, some apps, plus a super cool blue folder theme *see picture. The case has medium discoloration overall with the front maybe a little darker and a lighter area on top where a monitor sat. Comes with power cable. Optional Apple Design Keyboard and Apple Desktop Bus Mouse II also available.
Later models using this case were the Quadra (simply a name change) and the Power Macintosh and Performa models.
