Macintosh 128K, 512K, 512Ke, Plus, SE Internal Drive Cable
Description
Apple 590-0167 (red stripe) or 590-0437 (yellow stripe). Internal Disk Drive cable for the Mac 128K, 512K, 512Ke, Plus and SE (800K drive MFD-51W). Approx 6″ long.
Please do your own research, but this is what we think:
In the Plus and 512Ke:
The red stripe cable is for use with 400K drives and Black lettered 800K drives (MFD-51W-10)
The yellow stripe cable is for use with Red lettered 800K drives (MFD-51W-03)(pins 9 and 20 are not connected)
The SE seems to use the red striped cable and has red lettered drives.
