iMac 17″ Intel Core 2 Duo

Description

Apple A1195 (imac5,2) Late 2006 CD & A1208 (imac5,1) Late 2006. iMac 17”, 2006, Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

All below come with an optical drive. Airport Extreme, 160GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM, iSight camera, ambient light sensor, and stereo speakers. Ports include three USB 2.0, 2 firewire 400, Ethernet, & mini-DVI.

The main differences between the Late 2006 (5,1) and the Late 2006 CD (5,2) is a Superdrive vs a Combo Drive (CD-RW, DVD-R) and the graphics processor. Late 2006 has a 128 MB ATI Radeon X1600 graphics acceleration, and Late 2006 CD has 64 MB Intel GMA 950 integrated graphics (IG).

Late 2006 originally came with 1GB memory, and can use up to 4GB. Late 2006CD came with 512MB and can use 2GB. We would be happy to quote on memory or ssd options

All run great! Some of these came from a school environment and were tossed in a recycling bin which may be where most of the scratches came from. All have at least minor scratches on the housing and base. Most have deeper scratches or scrapes on the front housing. Most have at least a couple light scratches in the screen and worse. Many are missing the plastic “foot” on the bottom of the aluminum base.

A) SN QP65102CX1W. A1208, Late 2006 imac5,1. 2.0GHz, 8x Superdrive, Bluetooth. Missing plastic foot, 2 small cracks at top of housing on either side of the camera. Hinge is a bit looser than the others, but still holds it’s position fine. Some scratches on the front. The screen has a couple of light scratches.

B) SN W873202YWRQ. A1195, Late 2006 (CD) imac5,2. 1.83GHz, Combo Drive. Has plastic foot. Light scratches on the front. Scratch free screen.

C) SN W8732038WRQ. A1195, Late 2006 (CD) imac5,2. 1.83GHz, Combo Drive. Missing plastic foot. Scratches on the front. Small light scratches on the screen.

D) SN W873201XWRQ. A1195, Late 2006 (CD) imac5,2. 1.83GHz, Combo Drive. Missing plastic foot. Deep scratches on the front. Deep scratch on the screen, plus a couple light ones.

E) SN W873202LWRQ. A1195, Late 2006 (CD) imac5,2. 1.83GHz, Combo Drive. Missing plastic foot. Scratches on the front. There are a couple of deep scratches on the screen.

F) SN W8732033WRQ. A1195, Late 2006 (CD) imac5,2. 1.83GHz, Combo Drive. Has plastic foot. Deep scratches on the front. There are a couple of deep scratches on the screen.

G) SN QP650065X1W. A1208, Late 2006 imac5,1. 2.0GHz, 8x Superdrive, Bluetooth. Has plastic foot. One deep scratch on the front. There are a couple of minor nicks in the screen. OS 10.6 on this one.

All have a new install of Leopard, OS 10.5, but are capable of running OS 10.4 to OS 10.7. Will install the OS of your choice. All come with a power cable. Keyboards and mice are sold separately.
