Apple Hard Disk 20, 40, 80SC – Macintosh
Description
20SC / 40SC / 80SC – M2604 / M2644 / M2688.
Apple’s first SCSI external hard drive, the Hard Disk SC series brought a major leap in performance and cross-platform flexibility to the Apple ecosystem. Released in September 1986 alongside the Apple IIGS, these drives connect via the standard SCSI interface rather than a proprietary port, a significant departure from the earlier Hard Disk 20. They delivered considerably faster data transfer rates than their predecessors, up to 1.25 megabytes per second, compared to the 62.5 KB/sec of the original Hard Disk 20.
All drives come with power cable, SCSI cable and SCSI Terminator.
