Description

Apple Macintosh IIcx, Model M5650. This 1989 Mac features a 16 MHz 68030 processor, internal hard drive, and a 1.44 MB floppy disk drive. It has 3 NuBus expansion slots and has a port for an external floppy drive in addition to the usual ports.

These are 35 years old so expect minor scuffs and scratches. Anything more major will be noted. All have feet and will ship with a power cable. Logic boards have been recapped and floppy drives serviced!

A) F9250FYM5615, This computer has a DayStar Digital Power Cache card upgrade that retrofits the processor with a Motorola 68030 clocked at 50 MHz, 1.44MB SuperDrive, 5MB memory (There are 3D printed clips that are used to hold the sticks snugly against the pins *see picture above), 40MB hard drive with a newly installed copy of System 6.0.8, and a Macintosh II Video Card (820-0198) . The case has medium discoloration on the right, rear and top right rear on the top case, light discoloration on the rest.

B) F1025102M5615, 8MB memory (There are 3D printed clips that are used to hold the sticks snugly against the pins *see picture above), 1.44MB SuperDrive, 40MB hard drive with a newly installed copy of System 6.0.8, Macintosh Display Card (630-0400). The case is light overall with a darker band around the top and probably medium discoloration on the back of the top. The rear lid has a lighter area where a sticker was located.
