iMac G3. M4984, M5521, M7345LL/A, M7667LL/A, M7676LL/A, M8492LL/A, M7680LL/A, M7493LL/A

The computer revolution that started in the late 90’s… Color! USB! G3!

While far from the first Mac to be an all-in-one unit, it was the first in a new generation of computers and definitely the most colorful.

Many models to choose from, select by the number below. Expect minor scratches and scuffs and scrapes. Anything more major will be listed below. Good keyboards and mice are hard to come by, but what we have will be listed separately. All will ship with a power cable.

1) 350 MHz Blueberry (slot load), M5521. 576MB RAM, 8GB hard drive, CD-ROM drive. Restored to Mac OS 8.6. “Fruit” flavor. All sides are nice looking however it has some fine scratching near the top rear of the case. YM0098W3HQJ.

2) 400 MHz Blueberry (DV) (slot load), M5521. 320MB RAM, 10GB hard drive, DVD-ROM drive. Restored to Mac OS 9.2.2 & 10.1.3. “Fruit” flavor. Color is identical to #1. Flip down foot still in original plastic, white areas on very back – like from being against a wall. Scrape on the left side. RN000743LHTC.

3) 266 MHz Bondi (Rev.B tray load). M4984. 32MB RAM, 4GB hard drive, CD-ROM drive. Restored to Mac OS 8.6. Case looks nice with a few light scratches and scuffs on the right side and top of the case. The I/O door is missing. XB843ETTEUL.

4) 233 MHz Bondi (Rev.A tray load). M4984. 160MB, 4GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM. Restored to Mac OS 8.6. This is the original iMac G3 produced by Apple in 1998. Case looks nice has a few scuffs on the top. XA8418HPEUL.

5) 600 MHz Snow (slot load). M5521. Summer 2001. 768MB RAM, 35GB hard drive, CD-RW drive. New OS 9.2.2 & 10.1.3. Two firewire ports. This one has some light scuffs on the top bezel and left side. YM14103XLFC.

6) 333 MHz Grape (tray load). “Fruit” flavor. M4984. 512MB, 10GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM. Hard drive is split into 2 partitions – OS 10.4 and OS 9.2.2. Also has some apps like Office, AppleWorks, Photoshop Elements, etc. Looks nice, although I am sure there are minor scratches and scuffs – scratched power button. This one ships in a fruit iMac box (not it’s original) and comes loaded with most everything it came with – documentation, cd’s, modem cable, grape keyboard, grape mouse and original power cable – inside an iMac fruit accessory box. 7) 500 MHz Snow (slot load). M5521. Summer 2000. 640MB RAM, 12GB hard drive, DVD-ROM drive. Restored to OS 9.2.2 & 10.1.3. Two firewire ports. Looks nice, although I am sure there are minor scratches and scuffs. This one has had major reconstructive surgery on the inner bezel, some can be seen through the front bezel if you are looking. This one has a particular power issue. It boots and runs fine. But the power button has to be pressed while it is tilted on its left front corner. Sold as-is. RN032364JVA.

 

**Please note that the iMac G3 (Slot Load) can be super delicate. The inner bezel plastics haven’t aged very well and most, if not all, have or will have the tabs for the bottom cover clips broken off. You won’t notice until or unless you remove this cover yourself. Also the optical drives work in all if the iMacs here, but they need to be used. The rubber belts inside dry a bit and take on a more permanent shape around the pulleys. We are still looking for a source for new belts.

Boxes are few and far between, so like monitors, there is a packaging fee added to help cover time and materials.
